Welcome to Baileys Woods Campground

General Reservation Questions:

What information is needed to make a reservation? 

When reserving a site; your name, address, email address, contact phone number, arrival-and-departure time and method of payment are required.


When is my reservation secured?

A site reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or online and you have received a reservation confirmation email.


How many people and vehicles can stay per site?

Rates are based on 2 people. Site occupancy is no more than 4 people, or 2 adults and their children per site. Only one unit (tent/camper/RV) is allowed per site unless pre-approved by management.


Are additional guests or vehicles allowed?
Additional guests/vehicles/boats must be pre-approved by BWC management


What are the fees for extra items?

  • Extra vehicle: $5/day
  • Boats: $10/day
  • Tent: $10/day
  • Adult: $5/day
  • Child: $2/day

Maximum capacities may not be surpassed.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. If your site is available earlier, early check-in may be allowed. Check-out is 11:00 am on departure day.


What if I’m arriving late?
Please call to inform us if arriving late. The site will be reserved for you until dusk on your arrival day. 


Can I set up after 10 pm or before 7 am?
No. Site set-up is not allowed between 10 pm and 7 am.


Do overnight guests or visitors have to check in?
Yes. Overnight guests and visitors must check in at the office. All visitors must leave by 10 pm.

CANCELLATION AND NO SHOWS

Is my initial deposit refundable?
The 50%  deposit taken at the time of reservation is non-refundable 


Can I cancel my reservation?
You may cancel up to 7 days before your arrival date without full payment charge. Cancellations must be processed via phone call with management or staff. Voicemails will not be considered. 


What happens if I cancel late or no-show?
No-shows and cancellations made on or post arrival date must pay in full including taxes and additional services


LATE ARRIVALS &/OR EARLY DEPARTURE

Can I get a refund for arriving late or leaving early?
No refunds are given for late arrivals or early departures. We ask that you please inform BWC of either event so we can rearrange sites.

PAYMENT

What payment methods are accepted?
BWC accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.


When is the balance due?
Your balance is due at check-in on your arrival day. 

GUEST POLICIES

Can Bailey’s Woods Campground refuse service?
This campground is private property. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.


Is Bailey’s Woods Campground responsible for accidents or lost property?
We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of money, valuables, or damage to personal property.


Who is responsible for damage at the campground?
You are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest, or your pet.


Are political signs or flags allowed?
No signs of political or current events may be posted. Only the flag of the USA may be displayed.


Are firearms or weapons allowed?
No firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed.


Are generators allowed?
No generator use at any time.


Are photographs taken at the campground used publicly?
Photographs of campers on campground property may be used in promotional materials.


Are fireworks, air horns, or water balloons allowed?
Fireworks, air horns, and water balloons are not permitted.


When are bathrooms cleaned?
Bathrooms are cleaned daily from 10 am to 11:30 am.


What are the store hours?
Store hours are 7 am to dusk.


How should grey water be disposed of?
Wisconsin State Law mandates all grey water must be emptied at the dump station.


Can campers gather firewood?
Do not deface any trees. Do not nail or screw into trees, peel bark, cut trees, or gather firewood.


Are insect sprays or foggers allowed?
Personal insect repellent on the body is permitted. Area sprays, foggers, broadcast insecticides, or similar products in or around the campsite or campground are prohibited.

TRANSPORTATION

What is the speed limit in the campground?
All transportation must observe 5 MPH throughout the campground.


What vehicles are not allowed?
No golf carts, ATVs/UTVs, scooters, hoverboards, or dirt bikes. Mopeds are allowed on roads by licensed drivers.


Where can guests walk or ride bikes?
Walk only on gravel roads. No bike riding after dark.


Is electric vehicle charging available?
No electric vehicle charging is available.

MINORS

Can minors camp alone?
Persons under 21 are not allowed to camp without a person of legal age.


What are playground hours?
Playground hours are 7 am to dusk. Parental supervision required for children 18 years and younger.


Is there a curfew for children?
Yes. Curfew is 10 pm and children must be at their campsite at that time.

QUIET HOURS

When are quiet hours enforced?
Quiet hours are strictly enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.


What is required during quiet hours?
All outside radios, TVs, or electronics must be silenced. Excessive noise is not allowed.


Are outside lights allowed at night?
Turn off outside lights after dusk when not needed. No outside lights after 10 pm.

CAMPFIRE

What firewood is allowed?
Firewood and fire starters are available for purchase. Bringing your own firewood may introduce pests. Please purchase firewood within 20 miles of Bailey’s Woods Campground or from us.


What materials are prohibited in fire pits?
No shredded paper, cardboard, scrap wood, pallets, garbage, or building wood. Violators may be fined $50.


Can fires be left unattended?
Never leave fire unattended and fully douse embers before sleeping or leaving.


Can fire rings be moved?
Do not move fire rings. Damage is subject to a $70 fine.


What cleanup is required at campsites?
Remove all non-ash remains and dispose of garbage and recyclables in dumpsters at the campground exit. Unkempt sites are subject to cleaning fees. 

PETS

How many dogs are allowed per campsite?
Only 2 dogs are allowed per campsite.


What leash rules apply?
All dogs must be controlled by a 6-foot leash and may not be left unattended.


Are aggressive animals allowed?
No animal aggressive to people or other animals will be tolerated.


Who can walk dogs?
Children under 16 are not allowed to walk dogs.


Who cleans up after pets?
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.


Where must pets sleep?
Pets are not allowed in bathrooms and must sleep inside your camping unit.
